Our client are seeking a dedicated and proactive Agricultural Account Executive to join a dynamic team based in Brockenhurst
Purpose
A key client-facing representative of the business, with ultimate responsibility for arranging and securing appropriate cover for new and existing clients and prospects. In this position you will contribute to the continued growth of the business by actively unearthing new sales opportunities through networking and turning them into long term partnerships.

Role and Responsibilities
- In line with company business goals, to achieve annual and monthly new business and retention targets through networking, building, and developing long term relationships with clients and insurers
- To support the Sales and Marketing Director, and assist Directors in achieving the company’s annual income and retention targets
- Support strategic profitable growth by managing a portfolio of agricultural clients and develop long-term trusted advisor relationships
- Dealing with clients and insurers to deliver an account management service in accordance with the company’s service level agreements whilst adhering to renewal timetables and procedures.
- To present new business presentations and renewal reports to existing and prospective clients
- To regularly review existing client needs and to be able to recognise areas of under insurance / gaps in cover, and to offer solutions in these areas.
- Utilise the company’s in-house claims service in the development of new and existing business
- Act as a liaison between client and the claims team to ensure significant claims are managed in accordance with the company’s service level agreements
- Keep up to date with regulatory changes within the industry
- To be a knowledge base and support for all members of the company
- Any other ad-hoc tasks as required by the company
Education / Qualifications
- Cert CII, working towards Diploma level
- To have strong influencing skills with the ability to build and manage internal and external relationships
- Effective at managing customer expectations with the ability to work to strict deadlines
- To be a strong communicator who is adaptable and flexible
- To be a problem solver with good analytical skills
- Extensive knowledge of the company processes and company business goals
- To be target driven, highly motivated and a self-starter
- To be a team player
- Focused, professional, and diligent in your approach
- To recognise the importance of self-development, and to ensure all learning and development modules are up to date
- Decisiveness
- To quickly gain an exceptional level of understanding with key partners along with a detailed, in depth understanding of key placement strategies
- To have extensive knowledge of the sales and service process
- Technical knowledge in the following areas: Financial Services market and regulatory framework, insurer products and schemes to include core range of policies, operating structures, processes, and objectives of the client’s business
- Ability to secure commitments through strong Influencing and negotiation skills
- Strong communication, facilitation, and presentation skills
- IT Skills required include the use of Microsoft office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint), and previous experience of Acturis desired
