At Meridian Health, we are currently recruiting for an enthusiastic NMC or HCPC registered nurse to work with our client, a leading provider of Disability Assessment services.

We are looking for motivated, committed, and flexible individuals. You should be able to plan and establish an efficient way of working through a PIP assessment to facilitate a robust and accurate PIP report. This includes setting and adhering to realistic and detailed timescales for completion of assessment activities, such as preparation, information gathering, report writing, and checking.

About the Role

As a Disability Analyst, you will join a team of highly skilled and qualified healthcare professionals. In this new and rewarding role, you will be responsible for assessing, reviewing, and responding to claimants collaboratively. Your role will ensure the highest levels of sensitivity, respect, and professionalism are met, while simultaneously achieving agreed targets. Nurses (RMN, RGN, RNLD), Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Doctors, and Paramedics with at least two years of post-registration experience and a clear understanding of how disabilities or impairments impact daily lives are suited to this responsibility.

To become a PIP Assessor, you will undergo a 4-stage training programme that builds on your professional skills and provides you with essential competencies for the role. During the training phase (from stage 2 onwards), you will receive payment for your practice. Upon approval as a PIP Assessor, you will have acquired a transferable qualification that enhances your CV and broadens your career prospects.
